Activities at Camp: |
Different Activities in and around the camp :
Minutes walk from the camp is the beautiful Rangdum monastery, situated on a small hill dating back to 18th century. Two small village Yuldo and Tashi Thongze situated on either side of the monastery, are the only inhabitants of the area. You can join the morning prayer and can cpntinue your journey to Padum / Kargil.

A Day trek to Juldo and Tashi Thongze Village :
With a picnic from the camp, you can trek to Juldo village and to the hill above the village from where you can have beautiful view of the Nun and Kun peak, similarly towards Zanskar. After visiting the monastery by walk, you can continue to trek to Tashi Thongtse village which is beautifully located. |

A Day collecting Medicinal Plants :
Rangdum area is will known for medicinal plants, the local doctors from Zanskar visit Rangdum every year to collect plants from which they prepare medicine and treat the locals. You can as well participate in collecting plant and can study the flowers. |
